Joe and Erin’s wedding day turned out to be a wonderful celebration even though the skies decided to pour down on them. It didn’t seem to affect either of their happiness for the day. Erin got ready at her home with the help of her two bridesmaids. The ceremony and reception was held at Griggs Reservoir Boathouse along the river. All their family and friend’s awaited Erin’s arrival for the ceremony to begin.
We stepped outside even though the rain hadn’t let up to get some photos. Seeing Erin and Joe together, they seemed so timeless. Joe was a total gentleman keeping Erin covered from the rain. She would tuck into him for warmth.Thank goodness for cover…..I may have gotten wet in the process of these photos, but I saw to it that they stayed under the cover. I was going to salvage this day one way or another. By far….one of my faves. I just adore Erin’s bright eyes. All these mouth watering cupcakes and cake were done by the ever so talented Jennifer from Sweet Day Bakery. She’d done a fantastic job on all the little mini cupcakes, in all sorts of flavors. I just wanted to grab them up and put them in my pocket upon entering the room. Tasty and creative!I think it’s fair to say after all the wedding’s I’ve had the opportunity to photograph, some like to really get down and party and this group was no exception. They were out there from start to finish, having a good ol’ time. Joe even impressed me with his moves….but Joe’s parent’s took the cake…..they were a riot and kept everyone in stitches.
This was my last wedding for 2012, so it was great to end it on a high note. It’s been a fun line up of weddings and some really great couples. Thank you all so much! Congrats Erin and Joe!
