The Sweetest Thing…

To say that Anya is excited about the pending birth of their daughter doesn’t seem to scratch the surface. She’s down right giddy and ready for her arrival. Rob and Anya will welcome their second baby here in a few short weeks, while their son Ben becomes the Big Brother! We met up in down town Grandview for her maternity session. The day started off with reports of rain, but the skies stayed dry, but by the time we met up, it was absolutely freezing out… much for spring like weather. Stating the obvious to any pregnant woman or someone who’s been there, Anya is tired and ready to have her body back. She was on the fence of doing a session, but we discussed things and I explained how I know her well enough to know she’s gonna want to have those photos to look back on one day. She did it with Ben and I know how sentimental she is…..she wouldn’t want to miss out. She was so tickled upon arrival that she’d found a pink pair of shoes to wear…..even though they didn’t fit, she was going to wear those pink shoes! That’s my girl!Rob and Anya live in Logan, Ohio. So they made a special trip to Columbus. They enjoy coming into town to visit with family and seeing some of the sights around the city. It’s been so great getting to know Rob and Anya better over these last few year’s and watch as they grow their little family. They are so tightly woven into one another and they don’t take for granted one moment of their time together. Seeing their excitement with welcoming a daughter into the family put’s a smile on your face. They are just blissfully happy.
Ben came out for a few photos with Mom and Dad. He was very attentive to baby Molly and giving her lot’s of kisses. He’s going to make an awesome big brother.
Anya has been on cloud 9 with girl accessories and outfits. She will likely just change her clothes for the sake of a new outfit, regardless of it being dirty or not. Anya’s friend Annie Henestofel made these adorable hair clips, even a matching one for Anya to wear. You can check her out on Facebook under Live, Laugh, Sew She has great talent at making such cute accessory pieces.

Counting down the days now and hopeful to make it to the hospital in time to take part in Molly coming into the world. Stay tuned to meet her very soon!
