The Perfect Day!

Saturday couldn’t have been a more beautiful day for the wedding of my cousin Tara and her fiancee, Tim.  The ceremony and reception was held in Sunbury at Bent Tree Golf Club. The ceremony was held outside on the new patio over looking the golf course of rolling hills. Guests enjoyed the cool spring breeze and warm sun on their skin. Tara anxiously awaited putting on her gown. She was calm but yet little hints of nervousness showed as the time grew closer. Tim seemed to be calm as well…but yet, he was detailed in seeing to it things went perfect as planned and was keeping tabs on what was going on around him. A good cover for those nerves…..
Tara and her daughter Kayla had a few moments together before the ceremony began. It was a bit of an eye opener thinking back to going to the baby shower of Tara’s mom year’s ago. I still remember that day. Her parents wedding was like the start all for my love of weddings. I was very young when they married, but it left a big impression on me. So having grown with them over the year’s brought it full circle. Tim and Tara shared with their family and friends a beautiful ceremony. A wonderful poem was read that was very touching. You could feel the love and excitement in them both. I was just so happy to be able to be a part of their big day!I didn’t even get to see this moment happen as I was shooting the ceremony, this was an image Marty took of Ephram who was one of Tim’s groom’s men during prayer. Melted my heart. After the ceremony we took off in a caravan of golf carts. If only you could have seen Tara and I the week before when we went out to the wedding site to look over some things and getting our first experience in driving carts. To say the least I haven’t laughed so hard in a long time…so I’m sure everyone had a good time playing around.Tara and Tim have a great group of friends (and family) that stood with them.  They support them and love them and have a great deal of laughs with them. It was the first time I’ve met a lot of them and yet I felt as though I’d known them for awhile now. It was great getting to spend time with them. You two looked STUNNING!!! The grass was so green due to recent rain’s we’ve had and it just made them stand out that much more against the lush colors of spring.
It’s so exciting seeing Tim an Tara make it official. I’ve been watching as this romance has come into full bloom and see the genuine happiness in them both. They are a perfect match. The reception was beautifully decorated and the guests enjoyed a wonderful dinner…I’m just kicking myself for missing out on the cake. I knew with this group there would be lots of dancing and they did not disappoint! Everyone was having  a great time!
One of the highlights for me was watching some of Tara and Tim’s dear friends dancing with my Uncle Jon. He literally was one of the first and one of the last on the dance floor. He didn’t stop. He loves to get his groove on. He had the best time and thanks again ladies for making his night!!! The evening came to a close with some sparkler fun. It was the end of a awesome day for a couple that truly deserved it. Welcome to the family Tim…your stuck with us now!  Enjoy your time in Vegas baby!!!
