A beautiful drive to a farm down in Southern Ohio was the setting for the wedding of Tina and Chris. She’d contacted me a few weeks prior as she was preparing for her wedding and was trying to get all the last minute stuff crossed off her list. I was excited to get to work with them and be part of their special day.
The farm was surrounded by cow’s upon my driving up…..I knew this was going to be my kind of a wedding. Out in the country with nothing but you and nature. It doesn’t get any better than that.
Just that week of her wedding, Tina and Chris celebrated their 10th anniversary. What a great way to celebrate by exchanging vows and making it official. It was a long time coming, but so worth the wait.
Chris waited patiently for his bride to be to arrive, as he would have to hide from seeing her. He was just taking in the nice afternoon with family and friends.
Tina was so excited with her find’s for the wedding. A perfect pair of boots she had been wanting. Everything seemed to fall into place for her.
Tina got help from her daughter’s and Chris’s getting her dress on. She was full of so many emotions. She was ecstatic and yet had a nervous tummy, but she was so ready to see her man.
Tina’s two year old grandson was the ring barrier. He was a cutey pie. Those cherub cheeks…
It was important to both Chris and Tina to do things their way. They did some unique things, such as having the children put soil in the jar with the tree that would forever be a symbol of their new family tree. When they were pronounced man and wife, they started off their new path in a dance……how cool and sweet is that.
Tina had very cute touches to her wedding, a photo wall for her guest’s to get their photos done at. They are both big into Harley’s and wanted to be sure to get some photos on his bike together.
After the ceremony we strolled around the lake for some photos. It was a breezy spring day, but the sun felt good on our faces. They were happy to finally be Husband and Wife.
Chris and Tina decided they were going to give each other gift’s at their reception. All she knew was her gift was going to be sentimental. She worried if her gift would compare. I think they were both equally happy with what they were given. Chris went first with his gift from Tina.
Going into it, I had no idea myself what his gift to Tina was. After he opened his gift, he grabbed Tina by the hands and turned her back away from the outside to tell her about his gift….all the while the suspense was building. I got a sneak peek of it before she did and I knew she was going to be blown away.
You couldn’t help but feel her excitement. She was totally speechless and caught off guard. She was over the moon happy. She started screaming and laughing and a bit of tear’s of joy. Her honey had spent recent weeks preparing this special gift for his bride and it was about to pay off.
Chris nearly replicated an old bike she’d had year’s ago with the help of family and friends. She was so excited she didn’t know what to do with herself. She was such a tizzy of emotion, it was so sweet to watch. She was thrilled beyond words. A job well done Chris!
These cupcakes were to die for……..the presentation looked so nice….and smelled so yummy.
It took ten year’s to say I do, but they have spent the last ten year’s building up to this day and they are so excited to take the next path in their relationship and the joining of their families. Congrats to you both!!
