The way my head works….I get images in my head that won’t fade away. I brought one of those to life with the help of Cami. I’ve had the pleasure of working with her before and when this particular image came to mind, it was her face that I saw. Well she rocked it out. She did such a good job on an early morning session. I was giddy. Sometimes you need that creative outlet…for me this was just plan old having fun with my camera.
Cambell is her full name, but she goes by Cami for short. I often respond to her mom when she calls her cause I am so used to being called Kamey myself.
Cami is in second grade and is an equal spitting image of both her mom and dad. A sweet family I really enjoy working with over the past few years. Cami was a good sport and just had some fun.
That moment you get that image that is locked up in your head….that ideal. It’s what makes my job not a job, but something I love to do.
Cami brought the sass as well as the bashful and oh so sweet little girl.
At the end of the session Cami couldn’t resist getting into the corn stalks and tearing one off. The curious thoughts of a child…..she found a beautiful purple flower and attached it to the green corn cob…finding beauty in everything. Thanks for having some fun with me Cami. And a big thanks to Robin for helping me out!! Always a good time!!
