It is that yummy time of year for strawberry delights and Annabelle was going to be sure to find the best of them in the strawberry patch. She was too cute, the whole time she kept saying ‘There’s one’…..an then a moment later ‘There’s one’. This could have gone on all day.
Annabelle’s dress popped among the green leaves of the strawberry plants…..an that red curly hair-perfection.
I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again, coming from a mom that was a natural red head, I have a love for Gingers…so working with Annabelle again was icing on the cake. She’s such a sweet little girl with a bit of shyness but an adorable giggle.
I was waiting for it and she didn’t disappoint. Annabelle found ‘one’ and reached down to grab it, when the carton of strawberries she carried began to topple, one by one. She just picked them right back up and put them in the basket.
By the end of the session her white dress bared the remains of some strawberries, but she didn’t seem to mind. She was just content to keep looking under the next leaf.
We went over to visit with the farm’s goats, she was mesmerized with them and their chattering with each other. They of course were curious about her. She would just stand there staring at them with a big smile on her face.
I love this image, it’s like a timeless classic.
It was a fun morning at the Strawberry Patch and Annabelle and her dad went home with a nice selection of berries to take home to mom. Good job Annabelle!
