What a delight it was to catch up with a past bride and groom of mine. Jonathan and Christina. We photographed their beautiful wedding a few year’s ago in the breathtaking town of Marquette, Michigan. I have very fond memories of our trip to their wedding. We had such a fun time with their friends and family that weekend. So being able to see them again was icing on the cake. I got a message from Christina that they were in Vegas for a few days themselves while we were. Neither of them had ever been to Vegas before, so what better way to catch up. Marty and I picked them up to drive them down to old Vegas so they could see the sights a bit.
In town for a work conference, they had some free time that morning to do a bit of sight seeing. I am sure like any first time visitor, it was overwhelming to see the city.
We walked along Fremont Street area. Something or someone to see in every direction.
By the time we got together, the Vegas sun was burning bright. We looked for cover where we could find it.
I have to say, back when I used to work in the area, old town wasn’t as nice. They have done a lot of work to the area and made it much more interesting and cool. You can find tons of beautiful murals on the walls, restaurants and clubs and so much more.
Found the perfect door with their last name’s initial on it. Couldn’t pass that up.
It was great fun spending some time with Jonathan and Christina that morning. How great it is to have made these client friendships over the year’s. Hope you enjoyed the rest of your stay. Where will we meet next!?
