Keeping with the vintage car theme, we were driving along one day in Vegas an wanted to do a Drag Race shoot. We found a desert road not so often traveled and parked the car’s there on the road. We were fortunate enough to use two cars of Heather’s friend for the shoot. If you follow my blog, you may have seen these cars before in the previous shoot with two girl’s dressed in vintage garb. It was exciting to be able to get them out on the road. Heather and I drove the Chevrolet and it was super awesome….
Mike and Meghan were willing to be part of this fun session. I think Mike was happy not only to work alongside his girlfriend but also with some cool cars too.
Miles of open road ahead. I won’t lie, it was bright out there. Blinding. In fact I was getting frustrated cause images I was trying to create I couldn’t see past the intense glare of the sun. I wanted that brightness, but I was ready for it to go behind the mountain.
We also photographed Lauren and Brendon as the second couple. Lauren is the girlfriend of Brendon’s best friend. Unfort her boyfriend couldn’t make the shoot as he had classes that night, so Brendon was kind enough to fill in.
We wanted this to have a vintage feel about it but still keep it modern. It’s amazing how there isn’t much difference in today and back in the day.
You are so dreamy Brendon……..you know I say that tongue and cheek.
Oh the fun it could have been to press the gas and go……how tempting.
A little love for Brooklyn!
Meow Meghan..she’s one foxy lady.
Yes another fun shoot crossed off the running list in my head. Thanks to Mike and Meghan and Brendon and Lauren for coming out with us. And thanks again Charlie for letting us use your sweet cars.
