Sadies Dance

1
During my visit to Las Vegas, I had the chance to meet up with this gang before their Sadies Dance at school that evening. We met on a mountain top area as the sun began to set……it was so beautiful and such a perfect backdrop for them. I was not familiar with this dance prior so it was fun seeing it all come together. And I think they all had a lot of fun in the process too.

Caroline-Class of 2014

1
Four year’s have flown by… I photographed Caroline’s senior portraits in downtown Columbus and shot her graduation party with her family and friends. Now……four short year’s later, it’s graduation time again. She graduated this past Sunday from Ohio Wesleyan University in Delaware.

2
Caroline’s older sister Emily and her brother -in-law Kyle hosted her graduation party at their home in Powell. She had the place in a festive mode for celebrating as family and friends crowded the house. This is a close bonded family who enjoy their time together.  It was good catching up with them again for some more fun with the camera.

This family has been overly blessed with beautiful ladies…..
4
The bond of sisters… I admire Caroline and Emily’s relationship. They share such a tight connection with each other and know that they can depend on one another.
5
Sisters and cousin’s…….these girl’s love hanging together every chance they get.
6
Aww, sweet baby girl. She caught my eye early on with her gorgeous red hair and those doll baby eyes.
7
As the party was going on, I snapped some family photos here and there of the guests. The weather started out beautiful for us. And Caroline and the family were just thankful that her outdoor graduation went off with no rain issues.

Caroline embracing her dad….

Olivia is Emily and Kyle’s daughter. She was just a tiny baby when I photographed Caroline’s high school graduation. Really makes you realize how much time has passed.

Caroline graduated with a degree in neuroscience and plans on furthering her education to become a Nurse Practitioner.

Congrats on your graduation and hard work over the past four years. May you reap the rewards and enjoy the next step in your education!

Luke Is 2

Photobucket

Last month, Luke celebrated his 2nd birthday at his home with some family friends. He enjoyed playing with all his lil friends and spending some time with his Mommy and Daddy in the back yard.
Photobucket
This cake and cupcake combo was a cute mix for the Bubble Guppie theme.
Photobucket
Odile and Michael were playing with Luke in the back yard of their home. Luke was just bursting with laughter and having a good time. Daddy would swing him, Mommy would blog bubbles…..just spending time with his favorite people.
Photobucket
Bubbles are always a hit with the kiddo’s…..

Photobucket
Luke had many things to entertain him, if it wasn’t his toys, he was happy holding onto a football or playing with the balloons.
Photobucket
Odile has some great friends that surround her. Odile is from Argentina, and she has a beautiful accent….I could listen to her talk all day. I know she is eager to share these images with her family back home.
Photobucket
Luke’s body guard was making sure I didn’t take too many photos of the birthday boy! But I sweet talked him and he lightened up…..I kid, I kid.
Photobucket
Luke kissing his Mommy just melts the heart.

Photobucket
Luke was constantly on the go that day…..I didn’t have but this one moment that he sat still for the camera. And then he was off again……the boy had places to go, people to see!
Photobucket

Luke got a bit of help from Mom and Dad blowing out his candles. He had a great party with so much love for one lil guy! Happy Birthday Luke!

The Ephram Express

Photobucket

We celebrated Ephram’s 5th birthday at a awesome location I found just by accident when planning a train themed party. The Depot Rail Museum in Columbus was the perfect location, just what I had been looking for. Ephram has long had an obsession with trains, so it made him as giddy as me that he got to share in his special day here with his friends and family. Tim at The Depot took good care of us and helped us with whatever we needed and kept the party flowing with a tour of the museum and grounds. There is even a train for the kiddo’s to ride.
Photobucket
We’d never done a party for Ephram before, as we always keep it low key, and after all the planning and getting things together, I am glad I keep things simple. While I had a blast getting things ready….I was beat when all was said and done. But it turned out great and Ephram had a great birthday.
Photobucket
Ephram would greet all his little friends with their hats and scarf and train whistle. He loved having all his close friends to hang with him. He couldn’t wipe the smile off his face if he tried.

The cake turned out so adorable! I had a concept in my mind an sent her an image and she created this perfect addition to the theme. But even more importantly……it tasted sooooo good….I have a lot of cake samples at weddings and such and I can vouch her cakes are delish! Check her out if you need a cake for a special event. The kids all enjoyed their day and they finished off with a tunnel that they all ran through and they were off.

It was a great day of celebration and thank you to all of you who came to the party!!

‘Sweet And Sassy’

I can say without a doubt I L O V E my job. It’s the first job I’ve never wanted to quit. It’s the first job I’ve worked my hardest at..working night and day, literally around the clock. It’s my second baby, if you will. I love the variety of things I’ve been asked to photograph, making memories for people. Over the weekend I got to celebrate with a special little girl named Cambell for her fourth birthday party at Sweet and Sassy at Polaris Mall.

Photobucket
Cambell or Cami as she was called looked super cute in her birthday dress….what fun!
Photobucket
Umm, hello……this family was so photogenic…a dream fam to work with.
Photobucket
Photobucket
Cambell’s brother, Beckham was a natural in front of the camera as well. And he did such a good job posing with his sister.
Photobucket
How could I resist such cuteness?
Photobucket
After doing some family portraits, we made our way to the party and all of Cambell’s friends arrived to celebrate with her. They all got dolled up in their princess dresses and had their hair and make up done and then put on a runway show and then some dancing.

After all that, the girls celebrated with Cambell by having some pizza and yummy birthday cake.
Photobucket
I was humored all evening watching Cambell make her way towards the cake when no one was looking. She was ready for her cake. I would see family members dive towards her to keep her little fingers away from the cake, however she made a tasty mark or two on the cake……it was after all her cake, so I suppose that’s fair game. I think Cambell had a wonderful time with her friends and family around her. Happy Birthday Cami!
