Just a few more months to go and Taylor will be celebrating his graduation with his classmates with a bright future ahead of himself. We took advantage of the beautiful spring like weather in the middle of February and I don’t think any of us minded. It was a beautiful afternoon with sunny skies and bright smiles. Taylor is a senior at Tri-Valley Schools.
We worked around the town of Dresden, with the backdrop of the former Longaberger University building. Known as the Old Union Schoolhouse, the building looks to be in great condition given it’s age, built in 1882.
Upon graduation, Taylor plans on attending Ohio University, majoring in business.
Taylor plays Soccer for Tri-Valley. We had planned on doing some photos on the field, but as it turned out the fence was locked and well let’s just say, I didn’t trust my ability at climbing a high fence with equipment. So we plan on doing those photos in the coming weeks when the season begins for the sport.
I don’t know what this building was, likely an old house, but I was immediately drawn to it.
Taylor is very laid back and a cool gent. He was a lot of fun to photograph.
Savor these last weeks of your high school life, it’s going to go fast! Thanks for a fun shoot and I look forward to those soccer shots!

This lovely is Katie. She’s excited for the year ahead. Senior year is always full of exciting times and the anticipation of what is ahead. Katie is a student at New Albany High School.
Katie had such a brilliant spirit about her. She was very comfortable in front of the camera.
We had a lot of laugh’s during our session. Katie is very down to earth and a sweetheart.
Katie is looking around at local colleges in Ohio. She hopes to major in Visual Communication Design. She adores drawing and is very talented. She has been published three times in Celebrating Art. She won National Scholastic Art award, as well as being recognized by the school board.
An avid animal lover, Katie spent this past summer collaborating with CHA Animal Shelter. She took her talent and created some wonderful pieces that were auctioned off, with proceeds going to the Animal Shelter.
This image was by far my favorite…it’s funny when you get to the editing process, you start to see things differently than when you shot it. It’s a process I love so much.
With just a hint of fall coming, Katie wore her smile with no fuss even though it was a little hot for a jacket.
All the best to you in the road ahead Katie. I’m positive your talent will take you far. It was so fun working with you!!
Justin just started his final first day of school at Newark Catholic. Counting down the days till graduation. He and his family are looking forward to celebrating.
Justin is hopeful to go to Wright State with the plan to study Computer Science.
I met Justin four year’s ago when we moved to our current home and have enjoyed having him and his family as neighbors. We have fun picking on each other, an he throws it right back. It’s hard to believe he’s at that point where things begin to change, leaving home for college. It’ll be a little less fun on this street without him around so much. They are like a part of our extended family, so it’s a little bitter sweet watching him fly the coop.
Justin has a close knit family and they all enjoy each other’s company.
Justin has his close friends that he holds dear and his beloved dog Maggie.
Enjoy the moments of your senior year, it’ll go by in the blink of an eye. Before you know it you will be putting on that cap and gown. Can’t wait to celebrate with you next spring!
Ahh, just the kind of fun I like, winging a session. We took off in our car’s and just drove till we found spots an there it was. A beautiful farm field with hay bales calling to me. Jenna got a little help from friends with a boost up atop the bale. She was a natural and had fun with it.
Jenna was in town visiting from Dayton. She is a student at Kettering Fairmont High School. She will be entering her senior year with great anticipation of things to come.
Jenna is active in The Color Guard. She is also involved in the Allied Health CTC program at school. She will graduate with a STNA license and a scholarship for $3,000 to Sinclair Community College where she will pursue her career in nursing.
Summer in the country…..doesn’t get any better than that.
In her free time, she enjoy’s spending time with her family and friends. She loves catching up on Gray’s Anatomy an loves Disney. One of her favorite movies is Beauty and The Beast. But she keeps a tight schedule.
Jenna rocked that orange dress. Love it!
Good luck to you this coming year Jenna and best wishes to you in your future!
I have been so excited for this session, it’s not even funny. 18 year’s in the making. Kylie has just begun her senior year in Westerville schools and has a lot of exciting things ahead of her. Kylie is the daughter to a dear friend of mine, Lynn. She was my first ever baby that I photographed all those year’s ago. She was my first real attempt at taking photos of someone, other than for my own satisfaction. She was cute as a button (still is) and how could I resist that red hair. Wow, look how far we’ve both come!
Kylie has matured into a beautiful young woman with a heart of gold and a sweet nature about her. It’s really hard to wrap my head around the fact that she’s graduating in the coming months. Where did the time go?
She was born and raised in Westerville and felt what better place than uptown Westerville for her shoot.
Kylie enjoy’s spending time with her friends just hanging out. She is close to her family, along with her brother and sister and enjoy’s visit’s with extended family. She’s a well rounded girl. Todd and Lynn, you’ve done a good job!
Kylie plans going doing some courses at Columbus State before she transfers to OSU to study on becoming a therapist. She wants to work with those with addictions. What great aspirations you have!
Who know’s what road’s you will travel in your life, but one thing is for sure….this will always be home.
It was such an honor to be able to reach this milestone. To think back to when you were just a baby and I used to carry you around…….now look at you. You are amazing and you will go far in life. Explore the world and keep the faith. Best wishes to you Kylie! You go girl!
